Terms of service
Terms of Service
Welcome to Eyvette’s Heirloom. By placing an order with us, you agree to the following terms. Our goal is to treat every family recipe, photograph, and memory entrusted to us with care and respect while clearly explaining how our custom service works.
Custom Heirloom Services
Eyvette’s Heirloom creates personalized digital artwork using materials supplied by the customer. Depending on the product purchased, this may include handwritten recipes, photographs, family memories, stories, names, dates, and other meaningful details.
Because each heirloom is individually created, the appearance and results will vary depending on the materials provided and the design selected.
Customer-Supplied Materials
By submitting recipes, photographs, written memories, or other materials to Eyvette’s Heirloom, you confirm that you have the right or permission to provide and use those materials for your personal heirloom project.
You grant Eyvette’s Heirloom permission to temporarily use, edit, restore, crop, enhance, arrange, and reproduce the submitted materials as reasonably necessary to create and deliver your purchased heirloom.
Ownership of your original family photographs, recipes, handwriting, and memories remains with you or their respective rights holders. Providing materials for an order does not transfer ownership of those original materials to Eyvette’s Heirloom.
Preservation of Original Handwriting
Our goal is to preserve the authentic character of original handwritten materials whenever possible.
We may clean or reduce stains, discoloration, background damage, fading, or other visual distractions. However, we will not knowingly invent, guess, or reconstruct missing or illegible words, ingredients, quantities, temperatures, instructions, or other recipe information.
Restoration results depend upon the quality and condition of the original materials provided.
Draft Review and Approval
Custom heirloom orders include a draft review before final delivery. Customers are responsible for carefully reviewing names, dates, recipe information, photographs, spelling, layout, and other personalized details before approving the final design.
Reasonable corrections may be requested during the draft-review process.
Once the customer approves the final draft, the artwork will be considered approved for final production and delivery.
Turnaround Time
“Our target turnaround time for a Five Recipe Family Heirloom Collection or Five Recipe Memory Heirloom Collection is up to 7 business days after all required customer materials have been received.”
Because draft approval is part of the creation process, final delivery may take longer depending on how quickly the customer responds to the draft.
“Larger collections, unusually complex restorations, and high-volume periods may require additional production time. Any applicable estimated timeframe will be communicated with the customer.”
Digital Files
Digital products are delivered electronically in the file formats described in the applicable product listing.
Customers are responsible for downloading and safely storing their completed files after delivery. Colors may vary slightly between computer or mobile screens and professionally printed products due to differences in displays, printers, inks, papers, and materials.
Unless otherwise stated, purchase of a custom digital heirloom is intended for the customer’s personal and family use. The finished design may not be resold, redistributed, or offered commercially without written permission from Eyvette’s Heirloom.
Privacy of Family Materials
Customer-submitted recipes, family photographs, memories, and other personal materials are used for the purpose of completing the customer’s order.
Eyvette’s Heirloom will not intentionally publish or use a customer’s private family materials for advertising, social media, portfolio examples, or promotional purposes without the customer’s permission.
Orders and Payment
Orders are subject to acceptance and availability. We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order when we are unable to complete the requested work, when required materials are not provided, or when a request cannot reasonably be fulfilled.
Prices may change at any time, but price changes will not affect an order that has already been accepted and paid.
Refunds and Cancellations
Because our heirlooms are personalized, refund and cancellation eligibility is governed by our Return & Refund Policy.
Limitation
We make every reasonable effort to create an heirloom that respectfully represents the materials supplied by the customer. However, restoration cannot recover information that is absent or unreadable from the original source, and exact reproduction of colors or appearance across different screens, printers, papers, fabrics, and other physical products cannot be guaranteed.
Nothing in these Terms of Service limits rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.
Changes to These Terms
These Terms of Service may be updated as Eyvette’s Heirloom grows or introduces additional products and services. The version available on our website at the time of purchase will apply to that order unless otherwise required by law.
