About Eyvette's Heirloom

Preserving the recipes that tell our family stories

Some of our most treasured family memories begin in the kitchen.

A handwritten recipe tucked inside an old cookbook. A stained index card written by a grandmother. A favorite dish made every holiday. A recipe passed from one generation to the next, carrying far more than ingredients—it carries a piece of the person who wrote it.

That is why I created Eyvette's Heirloom.

My name is Eyvette Benoit, and family, tradition, and the stories we pass down have always been important to me. Growing up in Hawaiʻi taught me the meaning of ohana—family—and that some of life's most meaningful memories are created around the table.

In my own family, recipes like Grandma Helen's Char Siu and Mama Rose's banana bread are more than instructions for making food. Their handwriting, photographs, and the memories connected to those recipes are pieces of our family's history.

Through Eyvette's Heirloom, I help families preserve those pieces of history by transforming treasured handwritten recipes into beautiful digital heirlooms while keeping the original handwriting at the heart of the design.

Whether it is a grandmother's recipe card, a photograph from years ago, or the story behind a dish everyone remembers, my goal is simple:

Preserve the handwriting. Preserve the memory. Preserve the story.

Because someday, a small recipe card may become one of the most precious things your family owns.
